人不如狗：沪保险公司推“宠物保险”(双语)

　　随着当下城市中饲养猫狗宠物的家庭越来越多，有保险公司开始瞄准这一新兴市场，推出了针对宠物的专属保险产品。

　　Pet owners in Shanghai are now able to insure their cats and dogs, including unlicensed ones, to cover the costs if their pets fall ill or have an unexpected accident。

　　在推出天气保险(weather insurance)、世界杯保险(World Cup insurance)以及赏月险(insurance policy for full moon gazing)之后，国内的两家保险公司最近把目光投向了猫狗等宠物，推出了宠物保险产品(pet insurance policy)。

　　其中一个产品为综合保险产品，涵盖宠物医疗费用(pet's medical costs)、第三方责任保险(third-party liability insurance)、宠物丢失后的广告费用(the advertising fee for searching for a lost animal)，以及宠物死亡后的补偿(allowance for a pet’s death)。

　　据悉，保险公司采用先进的DNA身份认定技术(DNA identification technology)来认证宠物身份，因此未在公安机关登记的宠物也可以上保险。
