300余人提供翻译服务

湖北日报讯（记者江卉）盛会开幕，海外嘉宾云集。为让四海嘉宾沟通顺利，省外侨办将提供五种工作语言。

在今日的开幕式上，就有来自北京、上海等地和本土的60多名高端翻译人才，以及250余名翻译志愿者，他们将为中外来宾架起一座座语言交流的桥梁。

“这次大会有400余名外国代表参加，涉及英、俄、法、西、葡、柬等多种语言，为此我们做了精心准备。”省外侨办负责人介绍，根据外宾情况，确定本次大会的五种工作语言是中、英、俄、法、西。

由外事干部、专业翻译，以及全国各地高端翻译人才和志愿者300多人组成大会翻译团队，参与开幕式、主旨论坛及各专场的翻译工作，最大程度帮助中外企业增进共识、促成合作。

会前，省外侨办将本次大会出现频率高的专业词句翻译成多种语言，培训翻译团队。同时，向翻译们提供省外事翻译中心编辑整理的“湖北省党政机关名称标准翻译参考”“湖北省省情介绍常用语句翻译参考”“湖北省常用餐单翻译参考”等特色资料。

会议期间，主办方将为外宾提供一本湖北省重点企业手册，涉及近300家企业的基本情况。在大会翻译团队的努力下，这本册子被翻译成英、俄等四种外语。

完成大量的笔译工作，志愿者功不可没。据介绍，省外侨办联合团省委、省志愿者协会，在武汉大学、华中师范大学、武汉理工大学、华中农业大学、湖北大学通过严格面试和培训，共招募了250名志愿者为大会提供志愿服务。

志愿者在本次大会中主要承担企业集市洽谈、一对一会谈翻译、外宾团组及国内团组的联络员，做好会务现场、酒店的服务工作，他们将展示湖北青年乃至湖北人民良好的文明素养和精神风貌。

Five　Working　Languagesand　Over　300　Translators

Forum　on　Global　Production　Capacity　and　Busi-ness　Cooperation　grandly　opens　with　the　atten-dance　of　more　than　400　foreign　representatives　from　around　80　countries　concerning　English,　Russian,　French,　Spanish,　Portuguese　and　other　languages.　Therefore,　the　working　languages　are　related　to　Chinese,　English,　Russian,　French　and　Spanish.　More　than　300　elites　in　translation　and　interpreting　from　all　corners　of　China　will　provide　on-site　language　service　at　opening　ceremony,　themed　forums　and　all　specific　sessions,　with　a　view　to　help　domestic　and　overseas　enterprises　broaden　mutual　understanding　and　shape　co-oper-ative　relationship　in　the　maximum　extent,　accord-ing　to　Yan　Puliu,　director　of　the　Foreign　Affairs　Office　of　Hubei　Provincial　People’s　Government.　　　As　one　part　of　the　preparation,　the　Foreign　Affairs　Office　has　already　translated　the　special-ized　terms　that　would　probably　be　used　on　the　Forum　into　multiple　languages,　while　the　special　reference　books　compiled　by　Hubei　Provincial　Foreign　Affairs　Translation　Center　such　as　“The　Reference　for　Standard　Translation　of　Names　of　Party　and　Government　Institutions　of　Hubei　Province”“The　Reference　for　Translations　of　Fre-quently　Used　Sentences　in　Introduction　of　Hubei”“The　Reference　for　Translations　of　Popular　Menus　in　Hubei”are　provided　to　the　translators.　　　Under　the　joint　efforts　of　Foreign　Affairs　Office　of　Hubei　Provincial　Government,　Provincial　Youth　League　Committee　and　Provincial　Volunteers　As-sociation,　250　volunteers　have　been　recruited　from　Wuhan　University,　Huazhong　Normal　Uni-versity,　 Wuhan　 University　 Of　 Technology,　Huazhong　Agricultural　University　and　Hubei　Uni-versity　to　offer　basic　translation　and　communica-tion　services　and　to　take　the　jobs　of　one-on-one　business　negotiations,　trade　fair　presentations　and　communications　among　delegations　from　different　countries.　As　the　perfect　representatives　of　volun-teers　of　Hubei,　they　would　do　their　best　to　pre-sent　the　quality　and　spirits　of　Hubei　people.
